Mission:

Individuals, families, law enforcement, clergy, ERs, chancery courts, and anyone concerned about an individual who is experiencing or at risk of a psychological crisis can request assistance from a Mobile Crisis Response Teams. The Teams are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week throughout a CMHC catchment area.

The Solomon COUNSELING Center

Mission: The Solomon Counseling Center of Catholic Charities, Inc. was developed in response to the growing needs of central Mississippi for affordable, comprehensive, and professional counseling services for individuals, couples and families.  Our services are offered to children and adolescents, parents, couples, and individuals.  The Solomon Counseling Center is a Department of Mental Health certified community outpatient counseling center for children and adolescents.  Our talented clinical and support staff offer a combined 112 years of experience in the mental health field. 

Counseling at The Solomon Center is offered through a continuum of interventions:  Cognitive Behavioral Therapy; Trauma- Focused CBT; EMDR; 1, 2, 3, Magic parenting program; Gottman therapy for couples; Cognitive Processing Therapy for adults who have experienced a traumatic event; SPARCS--a group intervention for adolescents responding to chronic stress; and Psychological First Aid--an intervention to assist people in the immediate aftermath of a disaster.
